How Crimson Moon Runs Work
Understand Crimson Moon's mission loop, temporary Boon choices, permanent progression, hub preparation, and mission completion.
What is the basic run loop?
Prepare in Sanctus Clypeus, choose from the War Table, enter a mission, and adapt your temporary setup as the mission develops. Official support describes Nexus Gates that offer a choice of three Boons; those choices belong to the current run rather than a permanent collection.
How do missions end?
Mission objectives and unlocks are explained in Missions and the War Table. Completion awards mission rewards, while failure follows a separate retained-versus-lost progression model covered in What Happens When You Die.
How should you prepare?
Use Loadout and Inventory to understand equipped gear, then check Gear and Purification for what can become permanent. Build recommendations remain conservative until enough equipment interactions have been independently tested.
