What should a new player do first?

Learn the hub before chasing optimization. Sanctus Clypeus is where you choose missions, manage permanent systems, and prepare a loadout. Missions then add temporary choices that shape that run.

1. Read how runs work.
2. Use the mission and War Table guide before selecting difficulty.
3. Review loadouts and inventory so you know what can be changed during a hunt.

What carries forward?

Purified equipment and permanent hub progression matter beyond one run. Temporary Boons and some mission gains do not. The gear and purification guide separates these systems, while death progression explains failure without guessing at unverified loss details.

What is intentionally not ranked?

Crimson Moon Hub does not label a weapon or build as “best” without reproducible testing. Start with the build fundamentals and use the Build Planner as a compatibility aid, not a damage calculator.
